Turtles Stampeding Through Peanut Butter
Yesterday, I ran (that is a synonym for slog) the Air Force Half Marathon at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. It was, they said, the hottest it's ever been for their race. There wasn't much to be done except keep moving slowly and watch the fields. So, spotted, and reinterpreted (and the world starts to take on a special colorful glow at a certain point during a long run on a hot day) a field oak. Watercolors: Daniel Smith: Quin gold, phthalo blue rs, and quin violet. Paper: Fabriano 300 lb rough via Blogger http://ift.tt/2jAT4MQ September 17, 2017 at 02:02PM
